"I was in the choir after the celebration of Mass, when I was surprised by a peace that resembled a sweet sleep. All the interior and exterior senses, not only the faculties of the mind, were in an indescribable peace... All this happened in a flash. While this was happening, I saw before me a mysterious figure, similar to the one I had seen on the evening of August 5, with the only difference that his hands and side were bleeding. The sight of him shocked me; I cannot say what I felt at that moment, and I would have died if the Lord had not intervened to support my heart that was leaping in my chest.
